Our Mission, Vision and Who We Are

Who is hAwks Nation

Our Mission

We are the Champions of Newtown Athletics, providing steadfast support to our athletes, coaches, and administration.

Whether you graduated as an Indian or a Nighthawk, you probably have many great memories of your time at Newtown High School. We are re-launching the school-wide booster club called Hawks Nation (formerly known as the Newtown Blue & Gold Booster Club), to form a network of support for our current student athletes.

We currently have a few large-scale projects for which we are trying to generate funding – an updated weight-room, new stadium lights to replace the 25+ year old current lights, and a storage facility for Blue & Gold Stadium, to name a few. We are also hoping to be able to provide teams with monies to cover equipment or uniforms currently not covered by the budget.

If you are in a position to help, and want to help support our local student athletes, become a Hawks Nation member!
